IBC2025 in Video: First Look at Adobe Premiere on iPhone

In the second of our IBC2025 show floor videos looking at Adobe Premiere Pro, Jason Druss gives us a first look at the NLE running on an iPhone.

As we detailed when Adobe announced this at the start of September,   Adobe Premiere on iPhone has the potential to definitely upset the apple cart when it comes to the current mobile editing market. To date the big desktop NLEs such as Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve have stopped at the iPad. Adobe though has yet to release an iPad version of Premiere Pro, and instead has gone straight to the iPhone.

The video helps show why this could be such a big deal. There's no fixed release date beyond 'very soon', but it can already be pre-ordered from the app store.

"We're going to be iterating and developing and shipping new features in real time very, very quickly once we get it out there," says Druss. "So pre-order Premiere on iPhone now on the App Store. And also, know Android users that we are working on it. We've got a team of people building iPhone on Android, and that will also be available in the near future. "
