SmallRig's new ImageGrip series intros three new models of rotating grip, two made primarily from wood and the third of aluminium.

The new ImageGrip from SmallRig is a line of professional-grade side handles that the company says are built for creators who demand more from their gear. Definitely the three models are made of premium materials, with two built mainly from wood and the third from aluminium on its own.

The aluminium model, dubbed the Liquid Handle, has a 15 kg (33 lb) load capacity, which is consistent across the range, and comes in two versions; one with an ARRI Rosette that ships at $109 and one with a secure NATO clamp connection that costs $129. Weight is 320 grams (11.29 oz).

The standard Wooden Side Handle is also available in two versions. It's 20 grams heavier and has the same pricing structure: ARRI Rosette at $109 and a HawkLock NATO rail version for rapid slide-in locking and secure attachment to various compatible rigs that comes in at $129

Then there's the Eagle handle, which is a definite choice, and only available in the NATO spec. "Distinctive eagle-inspired styling makes a bold visual statement," says the company, and it's not wrong. All that additional understated styling takes the weight up to 410 grams (14.46 oz), while pricing is also $129, though currently available for $110.
