Puget Systems returns to SIGGRAPH 2026 with Form Studios' Robo Dojo, a motion-controlled activation that lets attendees battle AI robots as a real-time MetaHuman.
Following last year’s Virtual Rage Room, Puget Systems returns to SIGGRAPH with Form Studios for another splendid interactive activation called The Robo Dojo. Attendees step into the space and control a fully realized MetaHuman in real time, using their own body movements to fight a dojo full of AI robots. Each participant earns a score, and the top scorer each day wins a prize.

If this sounds a bit like they’re simply repeating the controlled violence theme from last year, it’s worth pointing out that this year’s activation shows how far the tech has progressed. The team has managed to replace last year's camera-heavy motion capture rig with a single-sensor LiDAR system for simpler deployment.
It’s not just all about pummelling virtual robots into submission either. In partnership with PNY Technologies, Beeble AI and District Cinema are demonstrating the lighting workflow used on Corridor Crew's Son of a Dungeon Season 3. Using Beeble Studio, the team is running SwitchLight 3 on native 4K cinematic footage to generate PBR passes for relighting and scene reconstruction, then showing how those passes import into Unreal Engine for real-time rendering. All this takes place on a Puget Systems workstation running an NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition GPU.
Also on the booth, Volinga has an Unreal Engine scene built from 3D Gaussian Splatting. Volinga Suite creates, trains, and edits splats independently of Unreal Engine; assets can also be brought into Nuke, Houdini, or the Volinga Plugin for Unreal Engine for relighting and further editing.
Puget Systems is also showing AMD's Threadripper PRO 9000 WX-Series processor paired with four Radeon AI PRO R9700 GPUs, running a Keyshot Studio workflow using AI Shots. This applies generative AI changes to an image while keeping CAD data, lighting, and perspective intact.
There were more activations too; District Cinema's Roll for Reality conference session combined tabletop role-playing, improvised acting, and real-time virtual production, with performers at a physical table acting out a fantasy narrative rendered live on a large LED display for the audience. Puget Systems and NVIDIA provided the hardware for the show, which sounds like it was well worth a watch.
