Previs Pro’s latest update introduces Pose Mode, Hand Pose presets, and workflow refinements that give creators more precise, expressive control over characters and 3D scene composition.

Previs Pro has a new update that adds Pose Mode, Hand Pose presets, and several user-requested workflow refinements to improve the precision and expressiveness of storyboarding and scene creation.

The update offers more direct control over body positioning, gestures, and object alignment within the 3D canvas.

Pose Mode: Precision Character Control

The new Pose Mode provides detailed articulation control, allowing adjustments to shoulders, wrists, thighs, and ankles. It enables more accurate poses that better reflect performance, emotion, and physical storytelling. It is also compatible with ReadyPlayerMe user-imported character models.

A new Hand Pose preset tool, meanwhile, adds a library of predefined hand positions for quick adjustment, helping creators define intent and gesture without time-consuming manual tweaks.

“Our community asked for more direct, intuitive control over character posing, and this release delivers exactly that,” said Ian Lynch Smith, founder of Previs Pro. “With Pose Mode and Hand Pose presets, creators can design more dynamic, believable scenes in less time.”

Other Tweaks & Improvements

Elsewhere there are several practical updates to improve accuracy and cross-platform performance:

  • Rotation angle display – shows exact rotation values on the 3D canvas for precise placement.
  • Max height increase – doubles the vertical movement range for props, lights, and characters from 10 to 20 meters.
  • Cross-platform unlock fix – resolves purchase-sync issues between iOS and macOS.
