The new Nanlite miro 30c and miro 60c are compact round panel lights designed for flexible use in livestreaming, photography, and content creation.
Nanlite has just introduced the new miro 30c and miro 60c round panel LED lights. Based around the company's Nebula C4 Light Engine, combining RGB and white light chips for accurate color output, they provide bright white light, saturated color, and crucially - and this is a bit of a USP - a natural circular eye reflection. Each unit can be mounted on stands or placed on flat surfaces via stepped yokes, which allow multiple tilt angles.
CCT range: 2700K–7500K with ±150 green/magenta adjustment
HSI mode: 36,000 color choices
Effect mode: 14 customizable effects
Control is via a 1.28-inch round display with outer progress bars, or wirelessly through the NANLINK App 2.0 using built-in Bluetooth. Multi-light setups can be managed individually or in groups.
Each fixture is equipped with a 45° focusing lens, producing a bright and concentrated beam while keeping power consumption low. The miro 30c has a 30 W power draw, and throws out 4854 lux at 1 m / 3.3 ft (5600K). The miro 60c has double the power draw at 60 W, and throws out 8382 lux 1 m / 3.3 ft (5600K)
Usefully, the lights can run from USB-C PD adapters, NP-F batteries, or an optional power bank holder. Reasonably enough given the power draw, the 30c has one NP-F battery slot and the 60c has two. Both will run for about 1.5 hours on battery.
The stepped yoke offers 360° rotation with 20 preset tilt positions. For versatile mounting, the yoke includes a 1/4"-20 thread, while the supplied 5/8" baby receiver with 1/4"-20 thread allows installation on stands with a 5/8" baby pin. Cooling is handled by a low-noise fan (20 dBA on the 60c) and efficient heat-dissipation vents.
Both models are available in mint blue or midnight blue finishes and come with a carrying bag.
Both lights are shipping now. The miro 30c costs $119 and the miro 60c $159.
