At IBC2026, Godox is showing its 6K RGB MG6KR light, PaletteLab color fixtures, an inflatable soft-light mat and a 1.9 GHz intercom system for large crews.
Godox's IBC slate is headlined by the MG6KR, a 6K full-color RGB light that the company says is its most powerful fixture yet. The launch was accompanied by a new inflatable soft-light system and a professional 1.9 GHz intercom platform aimed at large film crews.
Speaking to RedShark at the show, Godox spokesperson Ally Xiong said the MG6KR represents a step change in output and color performance for high-end production lighting.
"The MG6KR is right now the most powerful full RGB light we make," Xiong said. "The brightness is equivalent to a 6K HMI. One person can carry it. The head is 25 kg (55 lb) and the controller is another 15 kg (33 lb)."
The fixture uses an RGBWW engine and covers 92% of Rec.2020, delivering what Xiong described as "almost full RGB" performance. It is designed for demanding film and commercial sets, with a modular accessory ecosystem including 15°, 20°, 30° and 45° reflectors, a 5° parallel beam pin light, manual and motorised Fresnels, and projection attachments.
"We want it to be very powerful and very flexible," Xiong said. "All the accessories can be shared with the MG series."
Xiong said PaletteLab was engineered to eliminate spectral "jumps" and deliver extremely stable output.
"Daylight is continuous wavelengths," she explained. "PaletteLab mimics daylight so there are no gaps. We've achieved very high SSI scores of 93 and 90, which shows how close it is to natural light."
Both PL fixtures offer 281 trillion colors, 1800K–10,000K CCT, IP65 weather protection, and all-in-one power without external ballasts. Prices start at $1990 for the PL600 RF K1 and $3490 for the PL1200 RF K1.
Godox’s SkyTalk 1.9G wireless intercom system, aimed at film sets, OB trucks, and multi-department productions is also making its IBC debut. The DECT-based platform supports up to 20 users per hub, offers 350 m (1,150 ft) range, 12-hour battery life, and can link multiple hubs for larger teams.
"The signal is very stable," Xiong said. "One battery lasts 12 hours, and each set comes with two so you can run 24 hours nonstop.”
"In the past you needed four or eight people to build a big soft box," Xiong said. "Now you just inflate it. It's very easy to set up."
The AM800R features microstructure diffusion fabrics, a foldable U-bracket, carbon-fiber backing, IP65 weather sealing, and full CRMX/DMX/Ethernet/Bluetooth control. It retails for $3990.
