DJI has launched the Osmo Nano, a 52 g, 1.83 oz wearable camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor, 4K/60fps recording, and magnetic mounting for hands-free capture.
Available in 64 GB or 128 GB versions, the new DJI Osmo Nano weighs 52 g (1.83 oz) and measures 57 × 29 × 28 mm (2.24 × 1.14 × 1.1 in), making it the smallest of DJI's action cameras. It attaches magnetically to hats, helmets, headbands, lanyards, or other mounts and is waterproof to 10 m (33 ft) without a case.
It's built around a 1/1.3-inch sensor with 13.5 stops of dynamic range, and records up to 4K/60fps video, with slow motion at 4K/120fps. It also supports 10-bit D-Log M colour, something that DJI says is exclusive to this form factor, and shoots with a 143° field of view. Stabilisation is provided by HorizonBalancing (±30° correction) and RockSteady 3.0. Low-light recording includes a “SuperNight” mode.
The dock can fast-charge the main camera up to 80% battery level in only 20 minutes. When docked and fully-charged the camera can record up to 200 minutes of 1080p/24fps video, and the new Endurance mode allows for the recording of up to 60 minutes of 4K/30fps (16:9) video. The Multifunctional Vision Dock features a built-in microSD card slot, and can also connect mobile devices or computers using a PD fast-charging cable for transfers up to 600 MB/s.
The camera has built-in stereo microphones and supports DJI’s wireless microphone transmitters via OsmoAudio, allowing it to connect to two DJI microphone transmitters without a receiver.
As is the norm at the moment with DJI kit, we don't have US pricing or availability at the moment. What we can tell you is that the 64 GB version is available now for £239 / €289 and the 128 GB version for £259 / €319.
