Blackmagic has just rolled out its first update of the year — 20.3.2 — for DaVinci Resolve and Fusion Studio.

It's been close to two months since the last update to DaVinci Resolve and Fusion Studio, with Blackmagic's usually metronomic monthly release pattern disrupted by the festive season. Those hoping for a tick over to 20.4 will be disappointed as this is only a minor point release. As ever, though, it contains some highly useful features, especially for anyone looking to work with footage from the FUJIFILM GFX Eterna.

The DaVinci Resolve 20.3.2 software update adds new trim editor options for dynamic trimming, improved kerning for subtitles, and new colorspace and gamma options for Fujifilm camera footage. It also includes improved magic mask caching, as well as better metadata retention and timeline rendering for immersive and stereo 3D projects.

Fusion Studio 20.3.2, meanwhile, improves multitext styling when using advanced controls, as well as adding new colorspace and gamma options for Fujifilm camera footage.

Details on both below. And, as ever, the new software is a free update and can be downloaded from the Blackmagic Support page
