The new Shogun AV-19M 19-inch rackmount monitor combines NDI HX3, 12G-SDI, and HDMI in one display, with quad-view NDI monitoring and a $1899 price tag.
A typically busy IBC for Atomos. As well as the new 2800-nit Shinobi 7 II, it has also announced the Shogun AV-19M, a 19-inch rackmount 4K HDR monitor for live production, broadcast, studio and on-set monitoring.
Basically, it's a hybrid version of the Shogun AV-19 and supports both IP-based and traditional video monitoring in a single display, with hybrid connectivity across NDI, 12G-SDI, and HDMI workflows. Its 4K HDR DCI-P3 touchscreen is aimed at production galleries, control rooms, OB vehicles, video villages and portable flypack systems.
The unit includes EL Zone false color, focus peaking, waveform monitoring and user-definable function buttons. An optional custom flypack is available separately for mobile setups.
The Shogun AV-19M is priced at $1899 and is due from authorized resellers and the Atomos online store in October 2026.
Atomos has very much kept in its lane at this year’s IBC, without any of the forays into adjacent technologies that it has undertaken since CEO Peter Barber took charge. But it is teasing new third-party accessories for Sumo PRO-19 and Shinobi 7 II, developed by SHAPE and SmallRig to give production teams more ways to configure and protect their monitors.
SmallRig adds the SmallRig Shinobi 7 II Cage Kit with Sunhood, which provides added protection, mounting options and improved daylight screen visibility for Atomos’ new monitor. And in a similar vein, the SmallRig Sumo PRO-19 Sunhood helps shield the display from unwanted ambient light, improving visibility in bright studios and on-location environments.
The SHAPE Yoke Mount Push Button Kit for Atomos Sumo PRO-19 will be priced at $699 and is expected to become available in early October 2026.
The SmallRig Shinobi 7 II Cage Kit with Sunhood is priced at $109 and will be available alongside the Shinobi 7 II before the end of September.
The SmallRig Sumo PRO-19 Sunhood will be priced at $89.99 and is expected to be available in October 2026.
