Jason Druss, Senior Product Manager at Adobe, gives us a whistle-stop tour of the new features in Adobe Premiere Pro 25.5. And there are a lot of them.
There is a lot to see in this video shot on the IBC show floor with Jason Druss giving us a guided tour through the new features in Adobe Premiere Pro 25.5, but then there are plenty of new features in the software too.
“This is literally one of my favourite demos I’ve ever shown," he says at one point, and given the amount of them he's given over the years, that is some statement. In fact he says the word 'fun' five times over the course of the demo as he runs through all the features including 90+ new effects and transitions, a playfully creative new 'Surprise Me' button, motion graphics and more. And you get the feeling he could have said it a bunch more times too.
"It's just a really big release for Premiere Pro," he says. "So if you want to see what's new and use this yourself, this is all available now, and all 90+ of these effects and transitions are included in your plan. So go to your Creative Cloud App, update to Premiere Pro 25.5, and have some fun and experiment. Tell us what you want to see next, because we're going to be making more of these."
