Accsoon is having a busy IBC of it already, with a plethora of updates and upgrades covering its different monitoring options for filmmakers.
The latest version of the Accsoon SEE iOS app introduces free monitoring and camera control features for filmmakers, photographers, and content creators without requiring a subscription or any Accsoon hardware. That means that with a USB-C data cable (Lightning devices are supported via a Lightning-to-USB-C adapter), users can now transform their Apple devices into advanced on-set monitors.
The software is available on both iPhones and iPads running iOS 18.0 on.
The SEE app can control selected Sony and Canon mirrorless cameras. Users can adjust settings such as ISO, aperture, white balance, and shutter speed, as well as trigger recording on supported cameras.
Supported camera models are:
A free firmware update for Accsoon's flagship CineView Master 4K wireless video transmission system introduces full H.265 encoding support, enabling true end-to-end 4K60 video transmission, from input to output. Whether for monitoring, recording, or livestreaming, this optimization ensures more detailed 4K image quality at the same bitrate. For recordings users can now choose their own balance between reduced file sizes and increased quality.
The new firmware also allows the CineView Master 4K to support up to 10 device connections within close range. The unit also now intelligently avoids interference from WiFi, Bluetooth, and other crowded signals.
It will be priced at $99, with a working version available for hands-on demonstration at IBC.
Finally (we said it was busy) the company is launching a beta version of Sony FX6 wireless camera control for the CineView M7 and M7 Pro monitors. This new functionality enables:
• Remote record triggering
• Control over aperture
• Control of shutter speed or shutter angle
• ISO (dB gain) adjustment
• White balance and color temperature settings
The feature will be available in Q3 2025.
