Wooden Camera has introduced new cage and accessories for the Fujifilm GFX Eterna 65, not long after doing the same for the Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K/17K.
The company is, of course, well-known for its accessories for a variety of cameras, from the RED KOMODO-X and Sony BURANO to the Sony FX3/FX30 and Canon EOS C400. The new accessories for the Fujifilm GFX Eterna 55 will include solutions for mounting, power distribution, and a modular top plate.
The upcoming Fujifilm GFX Eterna 55 was announced back in November 2024, and made an appearance at NAB 2025. It can shoot 8K/30p and 4K/60p 4:2:2 10-bit internally and features the GFX 102MP CMOS II HS sensor and X-Processor 5. You can also check out footage here.
With the camera's shipment on the near horizon (and Fujifilm is promising a 20225 shop date) Wooden Camera has unveiled new accessories for the GFX Eterna 55. The modular Top Plate comes in three parts, allowing for cinematographers to use the GFX Eterna handle or Wooden Camera’s Ultra Handle. The latter is a handle that can be modified to suit the cinematographer’s needs by adding or removing handle extensions. It also comes with a 3-pin connector with trigger ability to start/stop recording (via third-party accessories).
In addition to the Top Plate, there are other mounting options, including a Rear plate and Side Rails. Finally, the D-Box provides reliable power distribution that’s secure, plus the Power Strip is designed to integrate with the camera.
Wooden Camera hasn't revealed pricing for the new accessories, but you would reasonably expect it to be at the higher end of its spectrum, so sub-$1000 for the base kit and likely peaking at over $2000 for everything. All will be available once the Fujifilm GFX Eterna 55 ships, which should be sometime this year. Click here for more information.
