Vinten brings the Versine 240 fluid head and VEGA Lite PTZ control system to NAB 2026, targeting live OB and automated studio productions that are increasingly looking at the PTZ route.

Vinten is showing the Versine 240 fluid head and VEGA Lite PTZ control system at NAB 2026, along with its FP-188+ robotic pedestal and a range of PTZ support options.

The recently launched Versine 240 is a fluid head aimed at live production and outside broadcast. It handles payloads up to 25 kg (55 lb), making it suited to long-lens and RF setups. The chassis is built from magnesium alloy and rated from -40°C to +60°C. Control ergonomics center on left-hand, low-effort gear-driven dials for balance and drag, with Vinten's TF30 thin-film drag system providing precise control at low speeds and fast whip pans at high speed. The head will be shown alongside the flagship Versine 360.

VEGA Lite

VEGA Lite is Vinten's PTZ control platform, designed to bring broadcast-grade automation to the increasing number of PTZ-centric studios being established by the industry without requiring a full robotic installation. It supports PTZ cameras from Sony, Canon, and Panasonic alongside Vinten robotic heads, and includes a shot grid, multi-shot presets, joystick profile editing, keyframe-based movement sequences, playout integration with major automation systems, and AI-driven presenter tracking. Licenses cover up to five PTZ cameras out of the box, with a migration path to the full VEGA Control System.

On the PTZ support side, Vinten will show the Osprey Lite pedestal adapted for direct PTZ fixing and the Tecnopoint Starter Ceiling Track for overhead installations.

Also on the NAB show floor: the FP-188+ full XY robotic pedestal controlled by the VEGA Control System, featuring geofencing for safe operating zones and enhanced onboard sensing for studio floor navigation.
