Micro Four Thirds users will be happy with the announcement of the Vazen T2 1.8x M4/3 anamorphic lens. It's introduced two other lenses with identical specs, a 28mm and 40mm.

The new Vazen 65mm is ideal for any M4/3 camera, like the Z-CAM E2 or the Panasonic GH5, and particularly M4/3 cinema cameras, such as the Blackmagic Pocket 4K. With the anamorphic front design and 1.8x squeeze, you'll have nice cinematic widescreen (2.39:1) with oval bokeh and blue horizontal flare.

Minimum focus is 3.6 feet (1.09 meters), and the T-stop range is T/2 to T/16. It weighs about 3.7 pounds (1.68 KG), and has a rugged design. There is an 86mm filter thread and you can add a step-up ring for 95mm screw-in filters for $50 USD.

The Vazen 65mm T2 1.8 M4/3 anamorphic lens costs $3250 USD, and you have an opportunity to buy all three lenses — 28mm, 40mm, and 65mm — for $8950 USD, a savings of about $800. If you own either of the other lenses, Vazen is offering a $400 discount for the 65mm.
