Amazing anamorphic footage from a camera that wasn't built for video

Magic Lantern crops up in some surprising places. Even in cameras that can't actually capture video

Was it really back in May this year that the first raw footage was captured on Canon EOS cameras?

Ever since then we've seen remarkable footage using the software from all over the place, like this, taken in Brighton, and this, which is a simply the best Magic Lantern footage we've ever seen.

After the break, there's a clip by Julian Huijbregts, using a Canon 50D, with the Magic Lantern raw hack. He's used a Nikkor 50mm F/1.4 + Kowa 2x Anamorphic. The resolution of the recording was 1280 x960p, stretched in software to 2560 x 960.

All this on a still camera!
