Computer colour is broken

**Computer software has been getting colour wrong all the time**

Colour on computers is a minefield. Our eyes perceive light in a different way to a camera, settings like Gamma can completely mess-up the way mixing colours are displayed.

Here's a really good explanation of this, coming to the surprising conclusion that most computer software gets this wrong!

When you see really quite serious errors like this built into software by default, it makes you wonder what else might be going on. No wonder that "colour science" is a huge part of the design of any new digital camera.
