PTZOptics has launched the Rise 4K, a flagship PTZ camera with a 1-inch 50MP sensor, 20x zoom and AI auto-tracking. It ships in Q4 2026.

PTZOptics has announced the Rise 4K, a flagship PTZ camera built around a 1-inch, 50MP CMOS sensor capturing 4K60, coupled with a 20x optical zoom and a horizontal field of view of approximately 71 degrees. This is paired with phase-detect autofocus, optical image stabilization, and brushless motors that all combine to offer what the company says is sharp, stable footage and precise movement. A built-in three-stage ND filter extends exposure control across changing light.

For multicamera workflows, Rise offers timecode and genlock for synchronization and FreeD support for integration with virtual production and AR systems. Video outputs cover 12G-SDI for 4K60, 3G-SDI, HDMI, and USB 3.0, with network options including NDI HX, RTMP, RTSP, SRT and 12G-compatible SFP+ fiber. It also carries professional XLR audio inputs with 48V phantom power, onboard TF card recording, and front and rear tally lights.

Camera control runs through Horizon Web, a browser-based interface offering image and color adjustment, intelligent presets, tracking, auto-framing and automation from any device on the network. It includes waveform, vectorscope and RGB parade tools for matching cameras, plus AI auto-tracking intended to let one operator cover more camera positions. Rise also works with PTZOptics' Horizon Hub desktop applications for control, configuration and workflow management.
