For those familiar with the EOS C200 we’ve included some links to our coverage below. But it’s worth going over the top line specifications just because this really is an incredible prize.
It boasts an 8.85mp S35 sensor that records 4096 x 2160 4K footage.It comes fitted with an EF lens mount and LCD touch screen display/ viewfinder. The internal Cinema RAW recording is the killer feature for us along with its run and gu- friendly ergonomics and those Canon skin tones.
Brett Danton reviewed the C200 for us in June last year. After taking it on a shoot Brett concluded “this camera is the perfect entry level RAW 4K cinema camera”. Brett later went on to buy one (Ed: you should’ve waited for this competition Brett) and uses it on high end commercial shoots today.
