Adobe today has released its anticipated update of Creative Cloud video applications coinciding with the opening day of the annual Adobe Max conference.

PremierePro sees the largest number of updates with improvements in the following areas:
Captions
Lumetri Color
Auto-aware VR
Publish Directly to Adobe Behance
Live Text Templates
Typekit Font Sync
Added Audio effects
Visual Keyboard shortcut map
Improvements to ingest and to general performance
Getting Started Guides

After Effects users will appreciate a new 3D Rendering Engine and faster performance overall, a long-standing user request. AE as well receives Typekit Font Sync.

Character Animator offers improved puppet creation, easier sharing and a more intuitive user interface.

Finally, Audition now offers getting started guides, useful for video professionals whose audio skills need a little help. Performance as well improves.

Connected Teams now enters beta, which allows project and file sharing via the Creative Cloud for Teams monthly subscription program. It is unclear at this point whether a user requires a Creative Cloud for Teams subscription to access shared data or if this only applies to the administrator of a particular project.

Adobe also announces a beta by invitation program for its Social Publishing Panel, integrating PremierePro CC with social media platforms.

Social Publishing Panel appears as yet another panel in PremierePro and allows a project to be posted on a variety of outlets including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Behance. Users are offered strategic recommendations for peak performance for each platform along with rendition management, custom thumbnails and content scheduling. It leverages Adobe Creative Cloud marketing engine to provide performance tracking. Creative Cloud subscribers can request an invitation to the program by application starting November 2.

Creative Cloud pricing plans remain unchanged and the updates will be pushed to subscribers throughout the day on November 2.
