Plenty of updates across the LUMIX ecosystem from Panasonic, including new features for the LUMIX Lab and LUMIX Flow apps, as well as firmware enhancements for selected LUMIX cameras and lenses.
At the tail end of last week, Panasonic announced a whole host of updates across the LUMIX ecosystem. All are available to download from tomorrow (Monday, October 20) via the app stores and LUMIX Global Customer Support website.
Highlights include the addition of the AI-powered Magic LUT feature in the latest version of LUMIX Lab, which essentially lets you copy the look of any image and apply it to your own pictures, and the roll out of LUMIX Flow to the LUMIX S5II, S5IIX, and GH7.
Full details below and here's a link to the live streamed announcement.
New S9 Colorways
First it's worth mentioning the new colorways for the company's popular LUMIX S9. As you can see from the top of the page, the $1199 camera is now available in Jet Black,
Smoky White, and Ocean Blue in Europe. We're unsure if these new colors are coming to the US market, where it was already available in Jet Black along with Dark Olive, Night Blue, Crimson Red, Mint Green and Sakura.
New to both markets is a limited edition Titanium Gold model (above). This comes with extras not included with other colourways: a matching premium titanium and brown leather rope camera strap, limited edition LUMIX stickers, a message of thanks from the designer, and a $400 mark up. It's definitely pretty though.
Anyway, onto the list of all those new features...
