Maxon has announced the Fall 2025 release of Maxon One, the company’s unified creative ecosystem that includes Cinema 4D, ZBrush, Redshift, Red Giant, and Maxon Studio.
The latest Maxon One update introduces an impressively wide range of new features for artists working in 3D modeling, VFX, motion graphics, sculpting, rendering, editing, and virtual production. It also debuts a redesigned visual identity for the platform.
For users working in Unreal Engine, updated Cineware integration improves interoperability with better Cinema 4D modifier support, texture tag handling, and automatic material instance creation. This is aimed at game developers, virtual production teams, and anyone building real-time environments.
ZBrush for iPad UI enhancements let users move the bottom bar, adjust the modifier wheel, and save or share custom interfaces for a personalized setup. Artists can rapidly sculpt, customize, and export designs for collectibles, props, and prototypes, with upcoming UV editing and hard-surface modeling updates extending its versatility.
Redshift has a brace of new tools to help photorealistic and stylized environments with greater realism and speed. Texture Displacement will deliver faster, interactive previews with minimal subdivision; Scene Units ensure materials match real-world scale; and the new Procedural Clouds and Sun & Sky system make it 'effortless' to add atmospheric depth to any scene.
Maxon Studio now supports embedded assets and reusable Capsules, making it possible to build once and use anywhere. This means more customization, faster setup, simple scaling, and consistent brand visuals, all without leaving the creative environment.
Maxon One costs $1265 per seat per year. New features are already available with what look to be plenty more to come.
