Manfrotto ONE Photo: a stills photography tripod for the ONE platform

Manfrotto has added a stills-first model to its ONE tripod range, with a non-round leg profile, simultaneous leg deployment, and Q90 column positioning.

Manfrotto has extended its ONE tripod platform with a photography-specific model, the ONE Photo. Where the earlier ONE Hybrid was aimed at creators moving between photo and video, ONE Photo is built purely for stills workflows.

Its defining structural feature is a customised non-round leg profile intended to improve torsional rigidity, useful when shooting with high-resolution cameras and longer lenses, where stability margins are tighter.

Setup is handled by Manfrotto's XTEND mechanism, which deploys all leg sections simultaneously in a single action. A sliding centre column supports height adjustment, ground-level shooting, and rotation from vertical to horizontal via the Q90 mechanism, covering overhead, flat-lay, macro, and product shooting without disassembly.

ONE Photo ships in three configurations: a bare aluminium tripod for photographers supplying their own head; an aluminium tripod with XPRO Ball Head for general use; and an aluminium tripod with XPRO 3-Way Head for studio, architectural, and precision work where independent axis control matters. All versions include Manfrotto's Easy Link connector for attaching lights, reflectors, or accessories directly to the tripod.

Load capacity is 12 kg (26.5 lb) and the legs fold to 655 mm (25.8 in); the tripod itself weighs 3.11 kg (6.86 lb) bare. Working height runs from 99 mm to 1640 mm (3.9 to 64.6 in) on 3-section aluminium legs with flip locks. Unlike the ONE Hybrid, as yet there is no carbon fibre version available.

Pricing and availability

The Manfrotto ONE Photo Aluminum Tripod is available for order now and starts at $329, with the head versions coming in at $515.
