The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 was already an extremely capable unit, but it's just had a serious glow up with the addition of four new videography bundles co-engineered with Leica.
Insta360’s partnership with Leica has steadily evolved over the past five years, expanding the camera’s role from pure action capture to a broader creative tool for photography and filmmaking. The company says that the new bundles build on user feedback from vloggers and filmmakers, and are designed around how creators actually shoot. Certainly, the addition of pro-level control, Leica color science in-camera, and other accessories tailored to modern workflows looks to turn an already capable camera into a seriously capable one.
Not sure anyone really needs a Polaroid camera in the mid 2020s, but there's probably a niche for everything in the creator economy at the moment.
“With help from Leica, we’ve redefined the action camera. It’s no longer just for capturing thrilling action sports—it has become a creative tool for serious photography,” says Max Richter Co-Founder & VP Marketing. The new gear is certainly intriguing and results in four different bundles. We would imagine the kit is also available to buy sans camera, but have not got confirmed pricing on that yet,
$519
Includes: Insta360 Ace Pro 2 (Dual Battery) and Xplorer Grip Pro Kit.
The Xplorer Pro Bundle includes the Ace Pro 2 (Dual Battery) and the Xplorer Grip Pro Kit. It targets users who want handheld control and portability for travel, vlogging, or street photography. It also features a Leica SUMMARIT lens, Leica color profiles, Dual AI Chip, FlowState Stabilization, a 2.5-inch (6.4 cm) flip touchscreen, and strong low-light performance — positioning it as a compact yet capable system for creators who prefer lightweight setups.
$604
Includes: Insta360 Ace Pro 2, Xplorer Grip Pro Kit, Flip Screen Hood, and Cinematic Lens.
Housed in a custom-designed box, the bundle features a Cinematic Lens, delivering a film-like, cinematic look directly from the camera. Certainly the pic above is a good one.
$739
Includes: Insta360 Ace Pro 2, Xplorer Grip Pro Kit, Flip Screen Hood, Cinematic Lens, Close-Up Lens, and Ultra Wide Lens.
This is the slightly less minimalist version. It features three premium lenses — Cinematic, Close-Up, and Ultra Wide — each supporting a different shooting style.
$579
Includes: Insta360 Ace Pro 2 (Dual Battery), Xplorer Grip Pro Kit, Pocket Printer, Flip Screen Hood, and Classic Leather Case.
The Flash Print Bundle is apparently aimed at "young creators and trendsetters" who might be after "instant, playful content creation without heavy gear." It includes the first Pocket Printer made for action cameras, enabling quick printing and sharing with Leica watermarks directly from the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 or through the Xplorer Grip Pro Kit for added control.
All four new videography bundles will be released together on November 12, and the Xplorer Pro Bundle is already available for purchase on Insta360's website.
