Roughly one quarter the size of a traditional speedlight and weighing only 120 g / 4.3 oz, the iT30 Pro should slip fairly easily into any kit bag.
The new Godox iT30Pro is undoubtedly tiny. Coming in at a decidedly bantamweight 120 g / 4.3 oz and 65 × 46 × 47 mm (2.56 x 1.81 x 1.85 in), Godox says it delivers lightning-fast TTL auto-exposure in any lighting condition. It's a capable little unit as well. Flip out the built-in diffuser for soft, flattering light, then wirelessly sync up to other lights or triggers with the integrated 2.4 GHz system. And with high-speed sync up to 1/8000, the idea is you’ve got the tools you need to freeze motion or blend flash with ambient light.
The unit features a responsive touchscreen that lets you swipe through settings and adjust power with just a tap. For those that prefer tactile feedback, a more traditional rotary dial lets you fine-tune flash output.
It features a built-in Godox 2.4GHz X system and supports both Master and Receiver modes. That means you can pair it with the X3 trigger or any other Godox 2.4GHz wireless flash to create flexible, limitless multi-light setups.
The iT30Pro supports 1/8000 s high-speed sync, front/rear-curtain sync, multi mode, and flash exposure compensation. The “S” version adds global-shutter flash sync up to 1/80000 on Sony cameras.
Recycle time is 1.5 seconds (charging is via USB-C) and Godox says it will provide up to 560 full power flashes on a single charge.
The iT30Pro will be available soon in 5 different models, covering compatibility for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, and Olympus/Panasonic, and two colors, black and silver. All the variations are priced at $74.99 or equivalent.
