RedShark's film crew visited the Godox booth at this year’s IBC for a walkthrough of three new releases spanning hard, soft, and inflatable lighting.
A visit to the Godox booth at IBC managed to conjure up interesting new advances on all sides of the fighting spectrum, from hard, to soft, to inflatable. Brand ambassador Hrvoje Bazina Asbh is your guide, and we start with the mighty 6K HMI-equivalent MG6KR.
The company’s new Palette Lab lights get attention too. ”If you've ever seen LED lights, they've always had a lot of spectral gaps in their spectrum,” explains Asbh. “So our goal when creating Palette Lab was to eliminate these spectral gaps using multi-spectral coupling technology, which basically uses multiple emitters of the same colors across the whole range to create a very wide spectrum of colors.”
