Godox's FL15Bi packs 15W of bi-color LED output, IP54 weather resistance, and Bluetooth app control into a compact and lightweight body, with barndoors and a Fresnel lens included at a competitive price.
Godox's new FL15Bi is a 15W bi-color LED video light aimed at run-and-gun creators who want a pocketable, weather-resistant fixture without sacrificing output or control.
At 253 g (8.9 oz), it's genuinely compact, and the built-in clip and 1/4" threaded hole give it flexible mounting options in the shape of stands, cages, or simply clipped to a bag strap. An IP54 rating adds dust and splash resistance for outdoor use, while an internal cooling fan helps maintain stable output during extended operation.
Output peaks at 25,600 lux at 0.5 m (with the included zoom lens at spot), with CRI 97 and TLCI 98 ratings indicating good color fidelity. Color temperature spans 2800K to 6500K. The included foldable silicone Fresnel lens folds to around 2.5 cm and adjusts light angle by folding into different positions. Magnetic four-leaf barndoors rotate 360° for flagging and shaping, and an optional zoom lens reflector narrows the beam to 5° for more concentrated output.
Beyond basic CCT and dimming, the FL15Bi offers 11 built-in FX effects (including the ubiquitous firework and candlelight simulations) and a TORCH mode designed for light-trail work during long exposures, using the "+" button to trigger precise bursts.
Control is either via onboard buttons or through the Godox Light app over Bluetooth, with a stated wireless range of 30 m (98 ft). The internal 4750 mAh battery delivers approximately 60 minutes at full power and charges via USB-C, taking approximately 2 hours 25 minutes to reach a full charge. Pass-through charging is supported.
The FL15Bi is available now at $99 in North America and €119 in Europe, with barndoors and the Fresnel zoom lens included in the box. The zoom lens reflector is sold separately.
