Fujifilm is going wider than ever with the FUJINON GF19-35mm T3.5, a compact ultra-wide cinema zoom for the GFX System.

Fujifilm has released the FUJINON GF19-35mm T3.5 PZ OIS WR, its second cinema power zoom lens for the GFX System, and featuring the widest angle of view yet offered in the GF format.

The lens covers a 19-35mm range (equivalent to 15-28mm in 35mm film format) with a constant T3.5 aperture. It's designed to pair with the FUJIFILM GFX ETERNA 55, and shares identical exterior dimensions with the existing FUJINON GF32-90mm T3.5 PZ OIS WR, allowing the two to use the same accessories and rig setups. Zoom and focus operation is standardized between the two lenses.

The GF19-35mm T3.5 supports Open Gate recording on the GFX ETERNA 55. It weighs approximately 2.1 kg (4.6 lb) and measures 222 mm (8.74 in.).

Key specifications

  • Optical construction: 23 elements in 15 groups, including four extra-low dispersion (ED) elements and three aspherical elements.
  • Internally motorized focus supports the GFX ETERNA 55's autofocus modes, with servo control of focus, iris and zoom from the camera body.
  • Three independent control rings (focus, iris, zoom) using the standard 0.8M gear pitch for compatibility with follow-focus systems and lens motors. The focus ring has a 200-degree rotation angle.
  • Iris: 13 blades resulting in a nearly circular bokeh.
  • Nano GI coating to reduce flare and ghosting.
  • Built-in optical stabilization.

Fujifilm states the lens is designed to minimize focus breathing and maintain consistent geometric rendering and exposure across the zoom range.
