Ahead of the start of this year's Cinegear Fujifilm has announced 10 more features of the GFX Eterna, including 4:3 Open Gate and Super 35 DCI modes, an OLPF filter, custom LUTs, and more.
Fujifilm's GFX Eterna is one of the biggest camera stories of the year, and, as far as we know, it is still expected before the end of the year too. As development ramps up to the sharp end of hitting this target, Fujifilm is releasing further details of the camera's featureset.
The company did this in two, closely separated waves: first with a list of the new features and then, a few hour later, filling in the blanks
Here's the first Top 10 in truncated form.
No.1 : Optical Lowpass Filter (OLPF) Specification
No.2 : Available Sensor Formats
No.3 : In-Camera Codecs
No.4 : Custom LUT Functionality
No.5 : Film Simulation Availability
No.6 : Development of Film Simulation 3D LUTs
No.7 : Custom Framing Guideline
No.8 : Remote Multi-Camera Control
No.9 : Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Support
No.10 : LCD Monitor & On-Board Menu Display Specifications."
And now the details.
To help in reduction of moiré and false color the following filters will sit in front of its image sensor.
• Wave Plate
