elevate.io's new captioning and transcription technology embeds captions in source media, making subtitles editable throughout the entire edit workflow.
elevate.io has launched what it says is an entirely new approach to creating subtitles and transcriptions. By making them synchronised and embedded in the original source media, the idea is that users can continually move and edit clips even after adding subtitles and they will remain perfectly in place.
Additionally, users can transcribe a clip once and the transcript lives forever within the source media across all projects where they are needed, which could be a massive timesaver.
Also on the timesaving front, the company says that its latest transcription technology lets creators transcribe their entire timeline in a single click, as well as pick from a range of creative design templates to design unique subtitles.
Subtitles utilize tokens, which were introduced in Q4 2025. See more below.
