Blackmagic is running an expanded series of six free DaVinci Resolve training webinars starting November 27.
Following the success of the free DaVinci Resolve summer training webinars, the new expanded free training program will run across six sessions. The sessions cover a wide range of post workflows, exploring everything from how to get started in DaVinci Resolve through to Blackmagic Cloud collaborative workflows, color management, and working with AI.
Each session last two hours and takes place on Zoom. And while a trio of them are essentially repeats of what was offered over the summer, the others are brand new content.
Thursday 27 November — 2pm GMT / 3pm CET / 9am Eastern / 6am Pacific
The initial 2-hour DaVinci Resolve taster session to help you get started with the software. This beginner session is aimed at giving you a solid foundation for creating content, covering project setup, media management, and efficient editing. This session was first broadcast in August. It's a repeat but it's a good one.
Friday 28 November – 2pm GMT / 3pm CET / 9am Eastern / 6am Pacific
In this follow-up session, you’ll learn how to adjust audio and add animated titles. You'll explore multicam workflows and vertical delivery for social media platforms. You’ll also get an introduction to color correction and visual effects in Fusion. Again, this was first broadcast in August.
Thursday 4 December – 2pm GMT / 3pm CET / 9am Eastern / 6am Pacific
This session will introduce you to color management: how to set it up, what a working color space is, and how to configure it at project, timeline, and clip level.
Friday 5 December – 2pm GMT / 3pm CET / 9am Eastern / 6am Pacific
This intermediate session looks at managing color across different formats, what DRTs are and how they work, color-space-aware grading tools, and how to monitor correctly.
Thursday 11 December – 2pm GMT / 3pm CET / 9am Eastern / 6am Pacific
Unlock collaborative workflows with Blackmagic Cloud. Learn how to share DaVinci Resolve projects across teams, wherever they are, and discover proxy workflows that focus on creating content rather than managing media. This session was first broadcast in September.
Friday 12 December – 2pm GMT / 3pm CET / 9am Eastern / 6am Pacific
This session explores how to use DaVinci Resolve’s Neural Engine AI across all pages of Resolve. See how AI can speed up repetitive tasks without replacing the operator, freeing more time for creative work.
