Blackmagic has just published six new guides to DaVinci Resolve 20, including the essential Beginner’s Guide to DaVinci Resolve 20. All can be downloaded for free as a PDF or purchased as a printed and bound book on Amazon.
Blackmagic seems to have accelerated the process of publishing its essential series of guides to DaVinci Resolve to bring them out much earlier in the release cycle. The last series of books covering Resolve 19 only appeared in March this year, and now we're already into the depths of Resolve 20 a mere six months later.
There are six books in the series, all of which can be downloaded at https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/training#books. Each comes with a selection of lesson files to work through, and there are also links to timed online assessments that can help benchmark your performance.
The guides are also available to buy on Amazon, where prices vary from $30 for the 226-page Advanced Visual Effects in DaVinci Resolve 20 to $60 for the mammoth 640-page Beginner's Guide. If you're going to print that one out yourself, you're going to need a lot of ink. Kindle versions are also available around the $5 mark.
Different languages are available, including Simplified Chinese, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Japanese. Availability varies there though, suggesting that the translation effort is an ongoing process.
Here's each available title along with its introductory blurb.
