Blackmagic Camera for iOS reaches version 3.4, adding more Apple Watch controls, REST API remote control and a new Remote Camera Manager, pulling level with Android.
Blackmagic Camera for iOS has been updated to version 3.4, bringing the app level with Blackmagic Camera for Android, which reached the same version number last week.
The update's main additions are on the Apple Watch side: more camera controls are now available through the companion app, plus there’s a new watch face complication for quicker access. The app also gains support for remote control via the Blackmagic Camera REST API, which as we pointed out last week has been a request on heavy rotation for a while now, and there’s a new Remote Camera Manager for loading saved camera lists.
Blackmagic Camera for iOS is free to download from the App Store. Anyone care to place a bet on whether the Android or iOS version will reach 3.5 first?
