Here's a lovely video that features Jean-Michel Jarre talking about the history of sampling, from the Fairlight CMI and the New England Digital Synclavier to modern day software instruments. It's part of a series by Native Instruments, and is a great example of 'content marketing', where you ask someone interesting to talk about stuff, and lots of people, like us, for example, share it.
