Atomos introduces Sumo PRO-19 and widens ecosystem further at NAB

Atomos arrives at NAB 2026 with its widest-ever product lineup, including the new Sumo PRO-19 monitor-recorder-switcher, new ATOMOSphere Editor, and more.

Atomos’ presence at NAB 2026 continues CEO Peter Barber’s mission to diversify the company away from reliance purely on on-camera monitoring. Mission accomplished by the looks of it

Sumo PRO-19

With the Flanders Scientific acquisition still fresh but yet to feed through to the product lineup, leading the announcements on the booth is the introduction of Sumo PRO-19, a new 19-inch 4K HDR monitor recorder switcher designed for multi-camera monitoring, on-set review and video village workflows.

The 3840 x 2160 panel runs to 1200 nits with 100% Rec.709 and 99% DCI-P3 coverage. It records up to 8Kp30 RAW, handles four simultaneous ISO feeds at up to 1080p60, and supports Apple ProRes RAW, ProRes, Avid DNxHD/DNxHR, and H.265. Media is CFexpress Type B or external USB-C. Connectivity covers 2 x 12G-SDI in, 2 x 3G-SDI in, 12G-SDI out, HDMI 2.0 in/out, Wi-Fi 6E, and RJ45 Ethernet, with dual balanced XLR audio inputs with 48V phantom power.

It also supports camera control. Via the touchscreen, the Sumo PRO-19 can adjust ISO, shutter, aperture, white balance, and record start/stop on supported Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, and Sony mirrorless cameras, with touch-to-focus also on the table.

Six assignable front-panel buttons give quick access to monitoring tools, LUTs, and anamorphic de-squeeze settings. The full monitoring suite includes EL Zone false color, waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope, focus peaking, and .cube LUT support. NDI HX3 send and receive is built in, as is direct cloud upload to ATOMOSphere, Frame.io, and Dropbox over Wi-Fi or Ethernet. AirGlu timecode sync runs over RF or Bluetooth. The aluminium chassis has an integrated carry handle and removable desktop feet; it weighs 7.1 kg.

Price is $2899 and it ships early June 2026.

New Fly Pack and ATOMOSphere upgrades

The Shogun AV-19, first announced at ISE in February, will be on show alongside the new optional Shogun AV Fly Pack, a road-ready accessory designed to make the 7RU rack unit more practical for mobile deployment. The Shogun AV-19 is priced at $2099.

The company is also debuting the new ATOMOSphere Editor, which allows users to begin editing directly in the cloud without downloading media first, alongside Ground Control, a desktop application that connects ATOMOSphere projects directly to a user’s computer. The idea is that these additions strengthen the link between on-set capture, cloud storage, collaboration, editing, review, approval, and delivery, all within a single workflow environment. Every ATOMOSphere account starts with 20GB of free storage.

A-Eye Controller Pro

On the PTZ front, Atomos is showcasing the A-Eye camera family, including HD and 4K models with AI tracking, alongside the A-Eye Control and the new A-Eye Controller Pro. The Controller Pro supports up to 254 cameras, including non-Atomos brands, and is designed to simplify advanced multi-camera PTZ operation with a 7-inch HD touchscreen, motion path recording, tally feedback, and broad protocol support including NDI, VISCA, VISCA IP, Pelco, and P&D.

The vest is yet to come

Beyond video, Atomos is also broadening its ecosystem with new audio and workflow accessories. Some of this (the StudioSonic Shotgun Mic, StudioSonic Pro wired headphones, and StudioSonic Air wireless headphones) has been seen before; new at the show are the USB4 CFexpress Card Reader and the FieldPro Vest, a wearable 'carry solution' (Atomos' words) for field use.

For those in Vegas, Atomos is also inviting visitors to take part in daily booth demos, with a daily prize draw at 5 pm (winners must be present) on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday for the chance to win a Shinobi II and a Ninja RAW each day.
