Antigravity A1 Flight Simulator Update & 15% Off Sale | 8K 360 Drone Expansion

Antigravity looks to build on the A1 drone's launch momentum with new virtual Flight Simulator feature as well as limited-time deals to maximise sales.

As Antigravity is very quick to point out, its new A1 drone is one of the main premium drones still widely available in the US as the politicking surrounding DJI continues.

"Antigravity confirms that all A1 models remain fully compliant following the recent FCC "Covered List" update," it says. "The import, distribution, sale, and operation of the A1 continue without restriction, ensuring that US customers can fly with total peace of mind."

The company is looking to build on its post-launch momentum too. It says that the drone is already "a top seller" at Best Buy, has recently become fully available on Amazon.com, and all three bundles (Standard, Explorer, and Infinity) are now being offered at 15% off until February 9.

That brings the prices down to $1359, $1609, and $1699 respectively, and seems to be an offer replicated worldwide. But perhaps even more interesting is the new Flight Simulator.

Flight Simulator Arrives in Vision Goggles

The new Flight Simulator is accessible directly inside the A1’s Vision Goggles and is being billed as a great way to learn to fly without imperilling your new $1000+ drone in real world environments. Antigravity says the software recreates the drone’s physics and handling in a virtual environment, giving new users a way to build confidence and muscle memory without the risk of crashing.

It's a low-risk training option, basically, allowing you to fly a course in what looks like a Zwift-like environment to us. And if they've got the programming right, it could even just be fun on its own.

The update will be available from January 29.
