Adobe Premiere mobile is now available for free on Android, a year after it made its iPhone debut.
Following its iPhone debut last year, Adobe Premiere mobile is now available on Android. It's available for free in the Google Play Store for devices running Android 13 or later, with a minimum of 5 GB of RAM.
Features include Enhance Audio, a one-tap tool to reduce background noise and improve clarity in interviews, voiceovers, and other recordings; frame-accurate editing; and a multi-track timeline for layering video, music, text, effects, and more.
The app also includes:
- Getting studio-quality sound with Enhance Audio.
- Layering video, music, voiceovers and effects on a multi-track timeline.
- Jumpstarting edits with creator-made templates, or customize your own.
- Adding effects, transitions, creative assets and music from Adobe Stock, your own files or extracted audio.
- Editing and exporting videos up to 4K.
- Creating and editing without a forced login or upgrade prompts.
- Generating assets with Firefly-powered generative AI features, such as Generative Fill, Image-to-Video and Generate Sound Effects.
- Editing in a no-ads, watermark-free experience.
It’s taken a year for the software to make it onto the platform, and Android is still missing some iOS features, including keyframes, beat detection and continued editing on Premiere desktop, all of which Adobe says are coming.
As it stands, the free app covers video editing essentials, with paid upgrades available for additional generative credits and storage.
