Apple/RedsharkApple updates Quicktime codecs

Apple have updated their Quicktime codecs for Pro applications to version 1.0.2, adding support for more file formats

Apple have just released updates for their "Pro Video" applications: Final Cut Pro X, Motion and Compressor and to coincide with this they have also updated the Quicktime Pro codecs for the Mac platform.

About ProApps QuickTime Codecs v1.0.2
This update adds the following video codecs for use by QuickTime-based applications:
Apple Intermediate Codec
Apple ProRes
AVC-Intra
DVCPRO HD
HDV
XDCAM HD / EX / HD422
MPEG IMX
Uncompressed 4:2:2
XAVC
This update is recommended for all users of Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5, or Compressor 4

Whilst these are designed to work with Apple's own applications it should also open up more possibilities for other applications that use the Quicktime libraries on the Mac platform.
